PICASSO PAVILION
An architectural interpretation of Guitar (1913), by Pablo Picasso, through a process of diagrams, architectural documentation, and models. Mirroring the deconstruction of the guitar, the pavilion is fragmented yet unified by the circular center of the guitar. The slope and shape of the roof tiles are all in relation to the center point, and the visitors move around the point. Additional interpretive ink prints were made to accompany the architectural model.
